"We make high-effort gaming and variety content in comedic ways while having fun with it, and we do it all so we can help people smile."
At Sound Check Productions, we make stuff worth watching—Let’s Plays, game reviews, editorials, comedy sketches, political rants, and whatever else we feel like throwing into the mix. If it’s smart, funny, and a little unhinged, it’s probably us.
We do it our way: fast-paced, sarcastic, and edited with just enough chaos to keep you on your toes. We’re not chasing trends or bowing to the algorithm gods—we’re here to have fun making content so you can have fun watching it, and when the moment calls for it, we get serious. We hold the highest regard for compassion, community, and the pursuit of learning.
Why? Because the world’s a mess, and we want to make it a little less crummy. We believe in helping people feel seen, heard, and maybe even a little hopeful. We’re here to laugh through the nonsense, speak up when it matters, and spread a little humanism in a world that desperately needs it. We hope that you’ll join us in doing what we can to make the world a better place, one silly video at a time.
CSDX celebrates the 10 year anniversary, albeit super late, of Pokémon X & Y. Felling it's super underappreciated, he takes a look at it and discovers some things he didn't realize were part of the game. What kind of messaging did he miss from this one?
CSDX had seen a lot of debates about preserving physical media and the convenience of digital media, and has opted to give his own take on it, along with grievances about how AAA publishers are handling Switch game carts.
From his side series '...But It's on a Handheld,' CSDX takes a look at Tony Hawk games on the Game Boy Color, all of which are handheld versions of the home console games, which traditionally are MUCH more different from their home console counterparts. Do they stand on their own, or do they fall face-first like Ric Flair does when he's socked in the face?

Join Actually A Fungus as they venture through one of their favorite games ever, and yet, somehow they still haven’t ever beaten it?? Enjoy the misadventures as we kill enemies, find treasures and secrets, attempt glitches, and most exciting of all: CUT GRASS!!
Actually A Fungus doesn’t have many memories, but they managed to fish up books, shows, videos and who-knows-what else that they have fond -albeit vague- memories of. Might as well share them, right?
With the internet being flooded with more hate and misinformation than ever for at least the last decade, Actually a Fungus is tired of sitting idly by and instead chooses to educate themself on the driving issues of the US and the world, and wants you to discover answers with them.
